Fittonia 'Pinky'

Fittonias are colourful rainforest creepers that love to mix things up. One batch of cuttings can throw white, yellow, pink, green and red, from fine netted veins to broad colour panels. They crawl and root as they travel, take pruning in stride, wilt dramatically when dry and bounce back after a proper soak. Keep light soft, moisture even and the air warm and humid to keep patterns crisp.

Fittonia 'Pinky' bears delicate pink leaves with fine darker venation and softly frilled edges touched with a green margin. The foliage has a light, almost translucent quality, with colour intensity shifting between pastel and deeper pink depending on age and growing conditions.

Care Tips:

• Light: Provide bright, indirect light; too much shade dulls leaf colour.
• Water: Keep the potting mix evenly moist, avoiding waterlogging.
• Humidity: High humidity is important to prevent leaf edges from crisping.
• Temperature: Best grown between 18-24°C, protected from cold air.
• Fertiliser: Use a mild liquid feed every few weeks during active growth.
• Repotting: Replace the soil when the plant becomes crowded or growth slows.
